Qu'est-ce que cela signifie ? Que tous ceux qui croient en lui ne périront pas, mais auront la vie éternelle. Si nous avons la foi et croyons, nous serons tous sauvés.

Évangile du dimanche : Jésus nous demande de centrer notre vie sur lui. Il nous demande de porter notre croix et de nous engager à faire passer sa volonté avant nos propres désirs et nos biens matériels. D'être ses disciples et de mener une vie qui lui plaise.

Superintendent Sheldon Germain and Deputy Superintendent Jody Seymour joined us on the first day, offering blessings for a wonderful year ahead.
Our new faith theme, “Doing Small Things with Great Love,” was already shining through in the kindness and happiness of our students. What a beautiful way to begin the year!

When red lights flash — STOP. No passing from either direction.
Arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes early
Stay 3 metres back until the bus is at a full stop
Use handrails and take five big steps away after exiting
Stay seated and keep aisles clear on the bus
Drivers: It’s illegal to pass a bus with flashing red lights | Be prepared to stop when you see the amber lights

Yesterday, every member of the Lakeland Catholic team took part in Pathways to Excellence — the first in a series of professional learning days planned for this school year.
This opening session brought together every staff member for a day of learning, collaboration, and faith-filled preparation, reflecting our commitment to excellence and our faith theme, small things done with great love.
With opportunities spanning instruction, technology, wellness, safety, and more, the day strengthened our shared dedication to creating caring, faith-filled, and engaging learning environments as we welcome students back to school tomorrow.

She reminded us of the wonder and beauty of God’s creation and how our faith theme “Doing small things with great love” comes alive in our classrooms and in our call as a Catholic community of learners. MacKenzie shared that faith integration isn’t something we “tack on,” but rather an awakening of what is already there — an invitation to see the beauty, mystery, and meaning in even the smallest details of teaching and learning.
Her message left staff inspired to approach education through a lens of wonder, beauty, and love at the heart of Catholic education.
